With the exception of the most ardent and hardened Trump loyalists, it is patently clear to all, even those that voted for Trump, that he has not retained the “best” people. He has, in fact, brought in a slew of cabinet members, administrators, and others that have been “slightly” lacking in the ethics dept. This country has not seen the likes of such corruption and lack of ethics since the 1800’s or early 20th century. Certainly not in the post WW ll era. And he, Trump, has yet to have all of his transgressions listed by Mueller. This notion that this investigation is all a hoax is, in and of itself, a hoax perpetrated by Trump to distract from the very real work Mueller and his team are doing. Trump knows he is guilty as sin. And his legal team, at the very least, must have their own questions, if not strong suspicions about him and the others embroiled in the, if not daily, then, weekly litany of malfeasance. The leaders in Congress are complicit with their muted responses to the cavalcade of continually emerging facts and information regarding meetings and communications with Russians and other seedy types. McConnell, Ryan, and the host of loyalist committee chair(s) and members a la Nunes, Jorden, Goudy, et al are all complicit in Trump’s debacle of a Presidency with their protectionist maneuverings and continued attempts of manipulation of fact and information. The hoax, my fellow Americans, is being played NOT by Mueller and the DOJ, but rather, by those shouting the loudest that it is all a hoax. And we all know by now who the loudest in the room is
